use a table layout and place the controls in the cells...

Hi.. i am building a web application using asp.net with vb for coding. I am trying to allow user to highlight text in a text area. i want to allow user to add a 'comment' for the highlighted text (similar to microsoft's word). can anyone help me...has anybody earlier worked for such feature in asp.net...or ajax...
