Matthew, I don't think the XML declaration is a problem, after all, RSS Feed is an XML format. I also don't think that anything has changed on my blog website, so the feed is the same as in the past, when pulling the posts from it worked well. I didn't post anything for a year, but that should also not create a problem? I just deleted my blog from CP, and then added it again. This has triggered the successful pulling of my newest post. So the problem is not the format of the feed. -Gerd

Publishing articles and translations makes them visible in all channels selected. If you publish an article that has translations, all translations of the article are published as well.writing an article is an easy task if you could catch the eye of a reader then its a relatively good job.You could just refer on academic coursework for any assistance needed in your work and publish a translation.

Okay, thanks for the hint. This was the problem: we had defined a (Drupal) view with limited content of the article body, which unintentionally affected the atom feeds (by limiting the content of the feeds' description element).

FWIW, I noticed that when one of my blog posts magically changed into an article, that I first had to set the "Original location" field again (it turned empty) before it actually wanted to update to a blog again. It might have happened that the "Original location" textbox didn't load correctly when opening the article editor, so when saving the article it was lost. The quick brown ProgramFOX jumps right over the Lazy<Dog>.

Thanks for your suggestion. Indeed, it would be a good thing to write an article about UML, explaining what you get from learning UML, and using it. In fact, I already try to show how using UML class diagrams helps to write the model code in an MVC software application in many of my CP articles, such as in JavaScript Front-End Web App Tutorial Part 2: Adding Constraint Validation and JavaScript Front-End Web App Tutorial Part 3: Managing Unidirectional Associations, and in others to appear.
