The officialness of all of that would be Trademarks and Patents and those must be taken care of through official means. You have to be careful of what you are doing though. If those threads have the end purpose of sending new information to a Windows Form you will have very unpredictable results. You either have to ensure that your threads are within the message pump apartment or you have to alter memory in your program and then setup another thread to monitor changes. Actually, MS left out more than hyperlinks in their datagrids. What you can do, is derive a hyperlink column class from the DataGridTextBoxColumn and put a hyperlink control in it, override some events and voila, you have yourself a hyperlink column. You need to refer to the row data - not the column: string smtpServer = newDataSet1.Settings.Rows[0][newDataSet1.Settings.SmtpServerColumn]; This gets the value in the first row under the SmtpServerColumn (you can also use the name or 0-based index, although using the DataColumn instance will be faster). I suggest you read the documentation for the DataSet class and related documentation. If you're not familiar with this stuff, simply guessing won't teach you anything. I ended up reinstalling IIS, .net 1.1, and MDAC 2.7 to get pages to show. However I'm puzzled on why I'm lost my text formatting. I does seem that only the aspx page is being read, not the (CodeBehind) pages. I've been reading and working on this problem for days now.
