After posting here I also checked out some articles online. Then it was found that uninstalling the browser would not interfere with my PC. So I uninstalled the browser. And this article helps me to understand this whole thing.

It isn't required to clean up the registry. Avast and its acquired org AVG also does the same thing. They have a Chromium based browser along with the antivirus products. In the installation screen, the checkbox to unselect the browser is not intuitively represented and hence tricking most users to get this bloatware on their computers.
