hello again man we have now a new problem with this structure i'm doing that but the application became so slow !! espacilly by filling listviews and combos WHY we don't use ADO.NET things, like data sets and bind them in a listview !!! i'm comfused !!!

if u have permission to access the file, just copy it to a specific place then read the copy !

hello i'm making a database based windows application so now i can't know the best way to present data : 1- there are some forms like users ... i prefere to put them in a data grid and 4 sure to edit them i made another form, so double click on the name on the liste and then edit in the next form. 2- there are forms like receipt,facture, ... there are an identifier and i have a lot of , so i can't use data grid ... i don't feel that my ways are user friendly ... what do u think the way to use? can anybody helps me ??????? thanks

u have right the problem was that i converted the project from vs.net 1.0 to 2.0 so by default the XP style was set to don't thanks man

im usin vs.net 2005 in the edit mode the controls are good but when i run the windows application the controls comes like the vb6 controls the old style ... the buttons the tabs all the controls what's my problem ?
