I hope you are showing the check box with LVS_EX_CHECKBOXES. If so, you will get the LVN_ITEMCHANGED notification when user checks or unchecks the check box. you can identify the state of check box by getting the state image of the item. Thanks Jim for your reply however I am still facing same compilation problem after removing all /Og, /Oi, and /Oa option. In fact I am using the default VS 6.0 optimization option.

U can make use of the function GetCurSel() to get the current selected item index. Now you can use GetText(index,string) to get the selected item text into the string. Set the retrieved string into the Edit box using SeWindowText().:)

Search for the definition of ITest. Is it enclosed in a namespace called TestComLib? I assume you're using #import. If you are you'll need to look in the .TLH and .TLI files. Steve
