first of all I want to say that I am glad to see some reaction to my message, that it has't been overriden and made some people think about (this even on a work-free? sunday!). It was Monday here. 1. fine. Damn - I expected more than fine for that first comment. 2. You don't have to go to "a miserable part of the world" to find women who are beaten by the husband, friend etc. It's just next door.. Off course, here (Switzerland) we have also a lot of muslims which women have to wear like you described. But there are a lot of muslim countries where the women are free to wear what they want and also do what they want. (for examlple see Afghanistan before the Talibans got to power) I mean, that sentences like yours, written to a public forum like this, won't make the world better, on the contrary. And expecially wont change the life of the women involved. My making an observation about the oppression of women won't change their circumstance AND is sexist ? I'll give you the former, but my comment was obviously light hearted AND was directed at the fact women are oppressed. You think because I made such a comment I beat my wife ? If not, why did you bring it up ? 3. which hell? Take your pick. It's obvious you just felt like flaming me, based on how illogical your reply was.
