The oddest thing in reviews is that Roku supports Amazon Prime better than Amazon's device.

    Better? In what ways?

Bought Prime a while ago for free shipping and online TV / Movies. My son and I used his laptop with an HDMI cable to watch Amazon TV. Bought Fire TV for the wife because it would be easier for her to use. She refuses to learn to use it -- says Amazon doesn't have anything she wants to watch.

The original installer REQUIRED that you install at least IE10. The current installer RECOMMENDS that you use at least IE10, but you can ignore it. 'Course, that means you miss out on some of the Microsoft crappiness.

I work for a large corporation. IT just started rolling out a Lotus Notes upgrade (from 6.5 to 8.5). It's even slower and more bloated now. Did I mention that I HATE NOTES!!!

  • Number of code comments is directly proportional to "X" ?
    J JSRustad

I've seen code written by someone with 30 years experience that had almost no comments (and the ones it did have, were wrong because they had not been updated when the code changed). Better yet, this was C code that made use of every trick possible in order to fit in a small embedded system. I've also seen code written by younger people with less experience that has good comments. It's not age or experience. Maybe it's pain experienced by having to support code of the first type?
