You have to code a function that recursively scan a folder for files/folders and add it to the treeview. You can start with //this code shows a dialog to choose a folder FolderBrowserDialog FBD = new FolderBrowserDialog(); FBD.ShowDialog(); string path = FBD.SelectedPath; //with this you get files in the folder DirectoryInfo dirInfo = new DirectoryInfo(path); FileInfo[] filInfo; filInfo = dirInfo.GetFiles("*.*"); DirectoryInfo subDir = dirInfo.GetDirectory(); Or Something like this. It could be start for your five days deadline, this CP article also uses <HTML>DOC Open Source binary for converting (http://www.htmldoc.org/[^]). You need to get a PDF library to help you generate the PDF file. ItextSharp[^] is one example. There are others out there if you google. So you take the user input, you use ItextSharp to generate your PDF file, then you return it to the client for display. Simon
