It sounds like your team needs to have weekly meetings where such bottlenecks can be detected and resolved.

Sounds like an instance where daily scrum's would work. If properly done, they quickly identify bottlenecks and people who are not able to deliver when they say they will. unfortunately in this case, with the developers being in different time zones, frequent meetings may not be very practical.

The exact details depend on the location, but you can take a picture that happens to contain a person without their permission. If that wasn't the case then almost every tourist photo would be a crime.

I could do that without any problem. Of course I have a life to live and wasting even a small part of it on someone who just does not want to admit he's wrong just does not happen to be on my list of todo items.

That's one of the silliest things I've read in a long time. I can go down to the store and buy a map that details every street in every city in the area. I can then actually go down any of these streets that I choose and see people with my own eyes any time I wish. At no time do I ever need the permission of any one to look at them while they are out on said streets.

We use WhoLockMe around here. I have not needed it much, but it did the job when I needed it. http://www.dr-hoiby.com/WhoLockMe/[^]

You're doing it wrong. First you give them the 2.5h routine. then you give them a free update that trims it to an even 2 hours. After that you offer to sell them the latest version that drops that time to about 15 minutes. the rest of the speed improvement you save until a later time when you can add it in to make up for the lack of genuine improvements in a release. I guess I've spent way too much time around marketing executives for my own good.

  • DirectoryInfo functionality for http paths
    K kenrentz

I have some code that we use to parse the contents of a folder and perform actions based on file dates. We would now like to do the same over our internal network to a location such as http://server.company.com:8080/files. Unfortunately, the DirectoryInfo method does not support this type of path. Is there a similar method that can be used for this type of path?
