I find Foxmarks really useful for backing up bookmarks. I know that's not going to get back your links but it may stop the problem from occuring again. Just add a folder to your 'bookmarks toolbar folder' and then drag links from the address bar to the new folder when you find something interesting. Foxmarks will then sync those details with it's server when firefox closes. I find it really useful to synchronise my home and office pc's. AxisFirst For Business

I have an XP machine that is only rebooted on Patch Tuesdays. If it weren't for those, the machine would probably have been up for well over a year. Mind you, this is just an "overnight download" machine that I RDP into (it's an old laptop with no battery and a broken display) :-D but still...
