If Pete's post didn't solve it for you, I have another way: You can almost always use CTRL-ALT-F1 (usually up to ...-F4) to switch from the graphical system to a text-based console. This sounds like you will be utilizing the multi-user support of the X-Windows-System. There are two possible solutions: The first option is similar to using RDP to connect to a Windows Terminal Server -> On the local clients, a window will show a desktop on the server, which they can use as they wish. The second option resembles the XP-Mode in Weven -> On the local clients, they click a shortcut. The shortcut then executes as a seperate Windows, with no obvious "foreign system". Both are handled by the X Window System. The difference: You can simply send the output of a local application to a foreign X-Server (the second option) or start a seperate desktop manager for every user (the first option). Thanx Navaneeth..I just went to the CentOS site and got the RPMs and the other applications and they got installed automatically. Now I can install again but I am trying now to install from my desktop. Which is still giving me a problem by the way..you can help me with that if you know how. Thank you again for your assistance. Good Morning Kagiso, What the guy is saying is true,i see that you are getting somewhere. you have to create a dataset to Display or save the data in the datagrid, out it this, you dont save the data in the datagrid, but you save the data in the dataset. Create a dataset and one adapter, and fill the dataset and if you want to update, in your Update command of your adapter, use your update commmnd. i have an article that can show you how to do it.
