How can I change hue and saturation of incoming stream while capturing in direct show? tank you in advanced

Is there any replacement for DeviceIoControl() to connect to CD-ROM and send an IOCTL_SCSI_PASS_THROUGH_DIRECT request to it?! Thanks in advance

I call DeviceIoControl() as below:

err = DeviceIoControl(hVolume,IOCTL_SCSI_PASS_THROUGH_DIRECT,(PVOID)sptd_sb, (DWORD)sizeof(sptd_sb),(PVOID)sptd_sb,(DWORD)sizeof(sptd_sb),dwBytesReturned,NULL);

which sptd_sb is a _SCSI_PASS_THROUGH_DIRECT_AND_SENSE_BUFFER. in most of the DVD Rom and CD Rom it works well and it fills in sptd_sb but in some of them like ASUS CD s400/A ATA Device it doesn't and sptd_sb is empty while the return value is 1 and GetLastError is 0 in both situation. does anybody have anyidea about it? thanks in advance

thanks a lot for your attention, but i want to use just one function to import file to registery editor, something like "import" option in "file" menu of registry editor since there is lots of keys in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKE_LOCAL_MACHINE in this file, and i don't want to import them separately. moreover be conscious please, i have to use MFC i'm NOT allowed to use .net framework. thanks for your help

is there any API which i can import a registry file in the registry editor? moreover in my registry file is a key which need full control permission for everyone in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, how can i get this through source?! thanks

you know if you want to use an ocx(activex) file in your project, you have to register it in your system & subsequently the others who use your program have to do that. i'm looking for a way which load activex in a .h file so we don't need to register it. can you help me? thanks.

sorry, you're right. we produce a hardware lock which use an activex for checking, setting & getting information on lock. now i'm searching for a way which make replacing activex more difficult. thx

thanks Superman but i'm sure you're wrong; i can in both of them(vista & xp) but under vista i have to be administrator & i was going to find a way which i can register activex when i'm a standard user.
