Right. And it's not showing support for HEIC.

To load an image, go to File > Open... and select the file you wish to open.

To load an entire directory of images, go to File > Open Directory... and select the directory you wish to open.

WIC Explorer supports any file format that has a WIC codec installed. On Windows 10, the built-in codecs are:

JPEG
BMP
PNG
GIF
ICO
JPEG-XR
TIFF
DDS
Camera Raw

Maybe your viewer only sees one? Do you have a HEIC specific viewer? Seems like it's an Apple thing...

I haven't been into AI as much as I should be I guess. Can it process audio/subtitles? The AI I know of learns by playing and having the rules programmed in. Like AlphaGo. I also thought the success any AI is what is fed into it. Garbage in/garbage out kind of thing.

You should try Zombies on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3. For the most part, good community of players who help each other out and I really like the co-op play with friends.

You underestimate the size that E-sports has grown to. Not only that, but most games have streamers going constantly that the AI could learn from. The original HD spec was 1080 in the vertical direction. The OP is looking at a 4k monitor which has 2160 pixels in the vertical direction. There are 8k monitors out there with 4320 pixels in the vertical direction if you're interested.

For most people? Probably not too much. For anyone that works in the print/advertising/movie etc industries? Critical. I work in print and we need to be color accurate to match customers expectations. Heh, the monitor I use at work cost $1,300 and self calibrates. The OP stated that he likes to work with photos so he might like to have that option for him. :)

Go new. You picked out a nice display. You should look into some monitor calibration software/hardware so you can be sure it's color accurate when you're editing photos. Also, you'll be able to plug your peripherals into it without any issues. :)

Price is higher as it is an IPS panel which offer a greater color gamut. Downfall is that they generally have a slower refresh rate (I believe it has gotten better though).

Not sure if it's still there on WE, but on the Task Manager>File menu, there's an option to Run New Task. I've used that to restart Explorer in the past. edit: NVM, I see 0x01AA already posted this. :-\

Heh, he owns a physical copy of the music he loves that he can always listen to, at least a long as the CD lasts. With YouTube, you're at the whim of any number of factors for the music you love. Artist decides to remove their music from YouTube? Gone. Music exec thinks they can make their own YT, gone. etc etc. I honestly would pay for the YouTube service, but I wouldn't get that much value out of it. I watch maybe 10 videos on there a month and the ads are overly obnoxious when I watch something without an ad blocker.

Quick search pulls up YouTube Downloader. Maybe it's a plugin in Opera?

Can you post what software you're looking at? The specs just seem out of line. I'm not sure what your accounting software is saving, but unless it's a lot of videos, MS SQL Express would probably exceed what you need. Generally speaking, I think people find their site of choice and just go to it without searching for it in google. Kind of like how you don't google facebook, yahoo, or any other sites that you can remember or have saved as a favorite.

Same. I scroll through and will see 3 ads and 5 suggested posts before I ever see one from someone on my friends list. And to make that worse, it's often days old so its often irrelevant. :sigh:

I have a collection of screenshots from Walmart ads of adult toys that would make a "insert person of choice here" blush. I think it's partly my fault though. I started screwing with their ad algorithms by clicking on everything to see what would happen. :laugh: My latest is checking the Walmart price of Sriracha daily as it shows up in my feed to watch the prices and how that changes. Hint, up on the weekends, down during the week. Sidenote, I never shop at Walmart.
