AFAIK, you can post binary data to any page, as long as the server application knows how to read it. Simply set the Content-Length header appropriately, and send the binary data. Other way would be sending it as a text field, base64 encoded. Yes, even I am blogging now!

The WebBrowser control - an ActiveX control that is hosted through an RCW, or Runtime-Callable Wrapper - is subject to its own focus handling. Either the AxHost (the base class for the AxWebBrowser class) has the focus or it doesn't, but how the WebBrowser control itself maintains focus is completely independent of .NET. IT could, for example, have the focus while the AxHost doesn't even realize it has the focus. This is a common problem (not just with the WebBrowser control, but with all ActiveX controls hosted in .NET). Once way of solving the problem is to get the handle of the currently active window before you refresh the WebBrowser and then restore it. For this, you'll need to P/Invoke the native GetForegroundWindow and SetForegroundWindow APIs. If you need help declaring the P/Invoke signatures, see http://pinvoke.net[^]. To solve the problem with the WebBrowser control itself, you either need to correctly identify the container (this gets deep into COM interfaces, so experience in this area is helpful; there are some articles on this site that may help if you search for "WebBrowser", for example) or to make sure that the WebBrowser control never takes the focus to begin with. One way - and this is untested but should work - is to set the WebBrowser.Visible property (not the inheritted AxHost.Visible property!) to false. Don't use a UserControl when a simple Control will do. UserControls are containers and have a lot of overhead. Controls are simple objects - like a Button, which might be a better control to extend for your use - and would have less overhead. But, realistically, don't use a control at all. Use a single control (perhaps even the Form itself) that manages the grid and draws the grid accordingly, as well as handling the painting operations by overriding OnPaint. Maybe try checking the Environment Values. I think you can access them using the System.Environment namespace. It gives you access to all sorts of info, like OS version, current directory, and WorkingSet(I think this is mach ram). Hope this helps :cool:

Take a look at RFC 1867[^] which describes file uploads using HTTP. For example, if you only need to upload a single plain text file, you cn set the HttpWebRequest.ContentType to "multipart/form-data; boundary=ABC123". You then get the request stream using HttpWebRequest.GetRequestStream and, to make things easier, pass that to a StreamWriter with whatever Encoding is appropriate (should be the same as the file encoding you're uploading, though multiple parts can have different encodings that would go into the "Content-type" header as "charset". You would write to the request stream writer like so: --ABC123 Content-type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded   param1=value1&param2=value2 --ABC123 Content-disposition: form-data; name="FileField" Content-type: text/plain   This content is from a text document. --ABC123-- Notice the intentional line breaks and how the last line ends with -- (the end of the MIME boundary). First off, you're getting the square because you're trying to set RTF codes using the Text property, which has no knowledge of RTF codes. (And you're not using the @ symbol in front of your string, so C# thinks "\b" is an escape character. Either make it a string literal or escape the backslash "\\b".) If you want direct access to the RTF codes in a RichTextBox, you should use the Rtf or SelectedRtf properties. However, I don't think that's what you're looking for, as it will make it quite a bit more difficult than using SelectionFont, SelectionColor, etc. The Rtf and SelectedRtf properties will give you the entire Rtf formatting string for the contents of the control or selection, respectively. See the DataTable.Select command. It uses the same expressions as DataColumn.Expression. You could use this to get a DataRow[] array and then remove each of those array members from the DataTable. Another way would be to sort the DataTable and iterate - not enumerate, which is what foreach does - through it keeping track of the last DataRow and comparing it with the current DataRow. If they contain the same data, remove the current DataRow (which is why you don't enumerate - changing a collection that you're enumerating throws an exception). Don't forget to decrement your index for the for loop since it will be incremented with the next iteration (you want to keep the index the same since you just removed a DataRow). If you're doing this in VS.NET, just click on the Copy Project button at the top of the Solution Explorer when your project is selected. It asks which you want to copy. Typically in a deployment scenario you just copy files necessary for the application to run. This would be the Server.asmx file and the Server.dll file, which either goes into the bin sub-directory of the application root directory (/, /myapp, whatever) or the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) making it easily accessible for web applications that require it and easy to version (since the GAC stores all versions of an assembly that you install in it, unless of course you were to remove certain versions). Hi Moon B, Image img = Image.FromFile( imagepath ); In place of "imagepath" you can enter 1. image file name with extension like "mypic.bmp", "mypic1.ico" etc or. 2. You can enter the image full path like Image.FromFile(@"C:\Jay Code\mypic.bmp") In Case 1 mypic should be in Application's Main/Bin/Debug folder where exe is being stored. In case 2 it takes absolute bath that is why application directory does not matter. Try the code mentioned in 2, if it does not work revert back.. Jay
