Its just a desktop application. I want to store the files in a folder and file references in a database. There will be a schedule table to store the file references and I want to show the saved files according to the schedule. I,m basically a web programmer so I don't know much about the Windows methods. Can you please help me on delivering the resources. I just want to play the saved files through any interface. How can I show the media files and of course it should be displayed in multiple screens.

Hi, Few days back I have posted a similar doubt against data synchronization. I have a web application developed with VS 2008 and sql express. The same copy of the database is on a web server. I have to synchronize the local database with the server database. Can I use Microsoft Sync frame work for this purpose. Please send me a reply.

The process should work in every 1 or 2 hours. The synchronization process should be done automatically. The backup and restore will be difficult in this situation and it will take more time. Is there any other solution apart from back up and restore.

I have an asp.net application hosted in localhost with backend as sql express. An sql server 2008 database with same structure is hosted in a remote server. I have to synchronize these two databases. What is the best way to do this? Can I do it with sync framework? Please suggest me a solution for this.
