A clipboard manager. Loads of them out there, but not exactly working the way I wanted, to store everything in specified folders according to data type or certain applications, and perform other little personally desired functions on clipboard events. Oh yeah, also a shorthand utility that works across all Windows programs, instead of just Word. (Many years ago in DOS I was using the commercial program PRD+, and then "Shorthand for Windows", which was perfect, but when they stopped supporting it at Windows 7 I think it was, but being very dependent on it, I had to write my own copycat version, with some adjustments. "Shorthand" seems to be available again, but now my own is sufficient. p.s., that sql restore utility sounds really good... ... ...

Reinventing the wheel - utility apps -
I need a good clipboard manager.I built one such program, which i've been using on my own PC for over a year now (VB.Net - sorry for those who hate that language). I'll gladly post code and .executable here if anyone's interested. It is loosely based on the concept of ClipMate (www.thornsoft.com), a commercial program. Keeps entire clip history with date added, organizable into folders, stuff like that.

My problem with infinityIt does indeed sound like a variant of Zeno's paradox: one expression of which is that a runner has to pass through an infinite amount of points to arrive at a destination (since any given distance, however small, contains an infinite number of points), so how does he manage to do that? One view to dissolve the paradox is that nothing in the universe is truly continuous: all existence, all energy transfer, and hence all movement as well, actually occurs in quanta and therefore nothing actually "passes through all the points". So the imaginary clock line was pointing to some very very high point on the line to the left of the clock at some quantified moment, and in the next, it was pointing straight upward....
