I don't know how far you want to take this, but www.terran.com is the site of *the* streaming media people. You can download "Media Cleaner EZ" demo (unfortunately, there's no direct link to download it. You have to do a site search "Media Cleaner EZ"), just to give you a taste. I don't know how powerful that program is, as I still have yet to use it myself. But it's a good start. From what I know, streaming is all about preparing your media correctly.
