I agree with most of the others who have responded. Brother makes a great inexpensive printer. We have an HL 1435 and for the year and a half it comes up about once a month with an error that the drum needs replacing (this after at least a dozen cartridge changes). Bypass the error and it works like a clock for another month or so before the error reappears.
