I totally agree. My whole family sat down to watch at 7pm and we were still there at 1am. Hugely entertaining. Beijing may have been spectacular, but London beat them on charm, warmth and humour.
You posted right in the middle of a site update, so that could have been the issue.

Total respect for that (admiration in fact) My comment was meant for sports fans from hot countries that likely never saw snow and care about winter sports as much as I care about cricket. I just didn't want it to turn into a discussion like at the last Winter Olympics.
