this is how I am reloading the aspx in that frame. top.pageContainer.location.reload() One more thing, the problem is seen if there were any postbacks registered in the aspx page. I mean, it works as expected(reloads the page without postback) when there are no postbacks registered on the aspx page. But once a postback event is done on the aspx and try to reload the page it throws that message and postbacks. I thnk this is because, its caching that postback event. But for now, i found the hack... instead of doing a location.reload() i am doing this top.pageContainer.location = top.pageContainer.location.href as pointing to a new url (but pointing the same one) this one solves the problem for now.

If you put the information in a configuration file it would mean you having a copy of the configuration file for each culture or finding a way to change the configuration setting as part of the installation of the application. Perhaps it is easier to add the culture specific email address as a string in a resource file.

Yeah, i looked in notepad......its perfect over there........As I said, when i give the encoding as default then it wrks perfect in english culture.... but it is mandatory that it shud also wrk in other cultures such as french and german.....it writes perfectly to the notepad....but when i try to open with excel it screws.....

i guess you try to watch a local variable, but in your current execution point this variable is not available (out of scope). setting a breakpoint where the variable is modified should solve your problem

I see, I'm still use TextBoxes for that, with some masking if appropriate. The NUD does a lot of masking (and limit checking) but seems to accept multiple decimal points, so it may still need validation.
