It's difficult to say with the scant information you've supplied. How are you connecting to Oracle? What drivers are you using? Are you getting any exceptions?

Probably depends on what "parameter" means but presuming that you really do have a web 'method' and you are passing data in the body, not url, and the server is discarding it then there is nothing that you can do on the client side that will stop that unless you can find a server side feature that allows it. As per the other suggestion the server might allow escaping but that won't help unless it actually converts the value to the appropriate character. If it doesn't then it will return with the escape intact which won't help you. Of course if you can modify the server then that would solve it.

At a time only one view gets rendered on page.So you cannot access the controls of one view from another.If you have to access some value from another view ,you can put it in viewstate etc. Cheers!! Brij

You need to do some work on your question construction b/c thats not what anyone would have though the OP was about. If you are talking about recovering from an error in the statement then a transaction is required, if there was not transaction you are gone. If you want to recover from an incorrect update you may be able to restore the database from a backup or possibly by working the transaction logs. Restore the DB to another SQL instance and compare the data. Never underestimate the power of human stupidity RAH
