Gary R. Wheeler wrote: If it makes good business sense to make a beta product available in a country, Microsoft will do so. If there is a reason to not make that beta product available, they won't. It's that simple. That's the very reason I said: "I wonder how much more profit Microsoft makes from Peru than from Germany and the many other countries it doesn't care about." I meant that the citizens of the countries Microsoft just debared yet from its beta pay more money to it than many they allowed to participate. Microsoft actually made business handicap to these people because they cant get the new techs as soon as other do. And that's why I suggested to replace its softwares when we are able to select from another company which more thankful to people who pay for its software. And yes, even if they don't care about us, they care about money BUT still they do care about europe because they know it means them a lot of money and if they just piss the people of it, that might be wrong for their business! So if we buy the software of a company, we make it stronger and greater. When you buy a new software and have to choose from several, the decision is up to you whether you make stronger a company which gives you about the same oppurtonity as it gives to other people in other countries, or another, to which your country (so you as a taxpayer and by great chance even as a personal customer) already paid very much money (that's what I meant by: "And the even more funny thing is that most of the developed countries which it doesn't show any care about still order Microsoft products when they could replace most of it... ") and it still gives better oppurtonities to people in countries which hardly pay anything to it. You know, most of companies are thankful if you buy their products instead of other ones, so here's a sily example: There are two companies A which thankful to people who buy its products and try to reward them and B which doesn't care WHO buy its software and who does not AND especially makes YOU handicap when it can even if YOU bought its software(that's if you are from Europe or Japan or from somewhere else where microsoft gets much much money). If you choose B and so make it stronger then A will reward people in other places where it gets money from. And if you're unlucky (european or japanese) B will just piss you doesn't care about you give it money. If you choose A, it'll reward you and you make stronger a company which DOES care about y

Microsoft's politics -
Microsoft's politicsI can't believe the way how Microsoft treats the EU and Japan. It's funny that you can order the VS beta in Vietnam or Chile and many other countries (I bet Bill Gates and the other headers who decide those things haven't ever even heard about many of them), but You can't order it in the EU or Japan. And the even more funny thing is that most of the developed countries which it doesn't show any care about still order Microsoft products when they could replace most of it with Suse or Borland or the products of many other companies. I wonder how much more profit Microsoft makes from Peru than from Germany and the many other countries it doesn't care about. I hope this effor will enlight the politics and managers who decides about what software they should order, but well, actually I know it won't. But at least we, the citizens microsoft doesnt care about can do something about that, when decide which software we buy from which company. We mustn't make a company, which doesn't care at all about us, stronger and richer!:mad::mad:
