Make sure that the port which is running mysql is open for remote connections. This you can put off the firewall, but if you want to set the Firewall on, just except the Mysql port which is usually 3306 or 3307.

Hii, Jose if i understand correctly then username and password is working on command prompt.Then the same should work with shell utility in asp.net.Isn't it. :sigh:

The only way I know to make this possible is by doing the following: Re-Install MySQL, when configuring for the first time, uncheck the checkbox that says "Change default security settings" And MySQL won't prompt for the password again. Jm www.menendezpoo.com

hi, First of all I am sorry that I was not specific.I had 2 panels.The first Panel has an Image Button.Clicking on the image button the second panel opens.when we again click on the first panel,the second panel closes.In IE it is working absolutely fine.However when i click on the image button in firefox,nothing happens.The second panel to which the collapsible property is attached doesent collapses neither expands.I enabled JS in FIre Fox.No result Any help :doh:
