I use Linux in a limited capacity as a PHP development server. For the small amount of things that I do, it works fine. Compared to Slack, the install was a breeze. Also compared to Slack, Red Hat is B L O A T E D. FYI, they just released version 7.2, so unless you hear otherwise, you may as well go with the latest and greatest.
