hello frnds, I have developed an application in C# n asp.net version 2. i have to publish it. My previous website is in pure HTML. In this, there is button named "Tracking". I have to link my web application from this button so the functinality of the application can be displayed on HTTP. I want to know the complete procedure . can any one help me? sry,for late response, the actual problem is .. i m not through the complete process.. i dnt know the files statistics of web application(asp.net +c#). i had a requirment of distance calculator(i developed on c# + asp.net)in my website. now i am not able to integrate them.[general html pages with new developed distance calculator on asp.net](dnt know the process) Do i need to go for publishing the web application?(c# + asp.net), thnks, shriya

i am trying to calculate the distance between two places. i filled the two combos with source n destination through data reader. Distance between them is also stored in the same reader. anyone can plzz tell me the method to display it on Label. sincerly, Shriya

hi, u can easily do it by string reader n writer make a template in .html both at source n destination read the data from the source from string reader store the data in a varible replace in the destination file through writer in btwn u have to go by complex coversion of string data type. regard shriya

thnx Deepa,, Through collection its 100% possible..The basic problem is there tht the event (DropDownList2_SelectedIndexChanged)is not fired on ..so the problem is arising.. else the associated code is absolutly running fine(TextBox2.Text = DropDownList2.Text; TextBox2.Text = DropDownList1.SelectedValue;). Hi, As per the three module of development (related to data access from SQL to the front -end and reports on Html)i have developed (ASP.net With c#) n tested it. Its running ok. Speed is also fine as compare to Crystal Report. Sincearly i have no idea about how the data(format)comes from SQL to the main application. Is there any better solution,for data transfer in XML . if there is then plzz kindly reply me.. sincerly, Shriya
