The human race should really be over this kind of stuff by now! Paranormal events (along with religion) are man-made superstitions that were created to put meaning behind the huge gaps in understanding that existed in the infancy of mankind. I'd like to think we have 'grown up' and realized that science and reason are the only things that have gotten us this far and the only things that will move us forward (and that anything else would only hinder this process).
