You need not write saperate help files for each control, what you can do is create 1 help file which has help info about all controls in your app, and in the control property provide different help keywords. Every thing is MAYA

the reason it hangs is that your instance of word is trying to show a dialog. this is because its trying to tell you that the docoument is already open. a better way round this is to chage your code to open the document in word as READONLY. "When the only tool you have is a hammer, a sore thumb you will have."

Actually can you give me a method which will translate the Rtf formatted string to stadard text, as I am going to use the same on different controls, which are not having Rtf property with them. I am looking for a method which can translate both ways, i.e. if I send Rtf then it should return Standard string and If I send Standard string it should send Rtf formatted string. Thanks
