I've been a hobbiest coder for about 6 years now, sort of blindly learning about this and that. I've managed to gain basic working knowledge in the basics of C/C++, OOP, and win32 apps but I'm really starting wonder how I'm supposed to start a career in the field. I'm saving up to write an A+ cert, but I feel lost. Does anyone know specifically what sort of credentials employers would be looking for, or even where I would start to look for employment?
