I used to fly years ago. I had my own aircraft, a Piper PA-22 Colt, a high wing two-seater. I flew out of a gravel strip on a farm outside of Montreal. Had a lot of fun and a couple of serious incidents. Now I'm too old (81) but I still enjoy my aviation memories!

I would guess number one. Many medical TV ads, after saying how great their product is, often have a disclaimer (how it may in fact harm you) in small low contrast fonts which are on screen for only a few seconds. I am 80 years old, still writing apps (well sort of), and small font size is always an issue for me. Bring back punched cards!!

Last week I bought I desktop PC, an i9 Mini with Windows 11. I decided it was time to update my i5 Windows 10. I'm happy with the PC, an MSECORE Mini and was looking forward to any new Windows features. I was disappointed to say the least; Windows 11 seems to have dropped at least one major feature of Windows 10 that I use - taskbar toolbars. (I was able to restore that thanks to the GitHub folks). And other things such as some menus are more awkward to use. Perhaps it should have been called Windows 9?

The fan is very quiet, I have to look closely to confirm that it is indeed on. My apartment is often at 80 deg these days and it does get warm to the touch. So far no issues that I know of.

Thanks for the info. Win 10 settings has a StartUp section which lists all auto start apps and their relative impact. I don't see anything there that may cause a slow boot. I am not really concerned about it, just curious.

Thanks for the info. I finally decided...I will not use any registry cleaner at all! The reason I considered one was because my two year old Win 10 SSD PC is noticeably slower now to boot up, even after cleaning up Startup apps and temporary files. But it performs well so I can live with that!
