When I have gotten these type of weird errors, I ususally make sure I have stopped and started the web site, I am sure you have already tried that. Stopped and started the app pool. If I am still getting it, I re-copy out the web site and make sure I delete all of the dlls in the bin directory before I copy the site out. Usually after those steps I won't get that error anymore. Just checking - the last time you asked this question you did not confirm that you had PowerPoint installed on the server. Did you clear up that problem? With the COMException - check the InnerException property to see if you can get more details on the specific nature of the problem. You would do this by putting your code in a try/catch block and outputting the Message or ToString() of the InnerException (assuming there is one) so you can see the details.

Do you mean that I should store the users sessionID in a database Table when they logg into the application and then delete these from the database (delete from Tablename , statement)? I did not make any changes in my Web.config file. Do I have to change the way I'm storing sessions there to make this work?Thanks for your help
