Back when I was gainfully employed in a chemistry lab, our quality control officer would occasionally refer to a hybrid and never used unit "femtograms per hogshead". No practical use whatsoever, but always good for a chuckle.

Creative abuse of SI units -
Loud KeyboardsLogitech makes a line of wireless keyboards that have a nice touch and are very quiet. Currently I'm using a MX KEYS unit and I love it.

looking for free software to draw sin(A*x) graphHere's a third vote for Desmos. My wife uses it almost every day in her quest to learn calculus. It also has compute functionality separate from graphing.

Are Lenovo laptops any good?As I read this my open laptop with the MSi logo is facing me. Check out XOTICPC.

Are Lenovo laptops any good?Check out MSI. I've had good experience with them (2 for me, 1 for my SO). XOTICPC has great prices and you can custom build. The Windows key is on the wrong side of the keyboard, though (right instead of left)! For me it doesn't matter as I use an external keyboard most of the time and suffer during those times when I have to use the built in keyboard.

Password manager recommendationI use one (Keypass, https://keypass.info) and I trust it. The price is right (free, although you can make a donation should you find it useful). I use it with both a master password and a keyfile and keep both stored in the cloud (Dropbox). With the database stored in the cloud you can install the client on any device and access it in the cloud. There's even a version for Android and you can make your Dropbox available to your Android device. I don't know about iOS, but there is a Mac client. When I add a new entry, I just let the application create the password and I copy/paste it in the future. All I have to remember is the master password for the database and I'm good to go.

Source Control SuggestionsI use SVN with the repository hosted on a remote virtual server at GoDaddy.

Most significant technical innovation in your lifetimeI have to concur with many of the other respondents here: the personal computer. When I think how it's morphed into the many forms it takes now from PCs to phones to watches to IoT and how the computing engine has shrunk and is in so many objects, I marvel at how much we take this immersion for granted. It's had so many impacts on our lives, too many of them not so good but many that are.

Office 2019 or 365?Office 365. The subscription is very reasonably priced and I can install it on a total of 15 devices (5 computers, 5 phones, 5 tablets) and have access to my documents everywhere. Plus, Outlook comes along in the bundle, so no more backing up PST files and moving them from computer to computer when traveling (I HATE web-based email!). The apps are up to date and I do get all that OneDrive storage PLUS more email storage than I can ever imagine using. It's made my life simpler.

How much do you pay for your internet?Type=copper Speed= 53 down/4.6 up (with VPN), 106 down, 5.7 up (without VPN) Cost = $95/month (includes 1 phone line) Where live = City (Seattle, WA). We get ripped off here. The city government has divided the city up into zones and there's only a single provider in each zone (unless you want DSL which comes from the phone company). Thus no competition and ridiculous pricing in our high tech city.
