I have never posted a message on any message board, but I am really annoyed (understatement) with anyone that doesn't understand what our space program WAS all about....Yes, you SHOULD learn Chinese, and while you're at it, you should brush up on your Russian. I and my husband work at Kennedy Space Center, and we will both be losing our jobs in October, along with 6,998 other people. We will be paying the Russians millions of dollars to transport our astronauts to the ISS...that money could have saved many jobs. And this doesn't just affect Florida, there are many other states that depend on the space program to keep their economies from collapsing. And by the way, it will take the private companies approximately 10 years to develop a rocket that is safe enough for humans...so, great "plan", huh?:mad:
