Thank you Iain. ;) As I commentted in the code, everything looks finely.The filter can be created; the pins can be enumerated; and the direction of the pins can be queried too, but when it comes to the media types of a given pin, IEnumMediaTypes::Next always returns S_FALSE. You can get struct and class layouts to match by using the appropriate #pragmas, but I agree that picking one compiler is probably the best choice. Steve

Yes, my own code is based on sscanf, and the string format is fixed like the sample above. strftime, wcsftime, _strftime_l, _wcsftime_l these functions format tm to string, but what I want is formating string to tm or CTime object. Thanks! :) A Chinese VC++ programmer
