I haven't used too much of the Windows datagrid, but if IIRC, any changes you make to the grid(like column no, or size) will not be reflected if you use databinding. Support Bone

Have you investigated the PrintDocument class? You may want to subclass PrintDocument to output rows from the source of a datagrid.

There is an Example in the MSDN help on receiving Data from a Socket. However, it uses the TCPClient Class instead of Socket, I am sure you can modify this. Do a search on "Chat" and it should find an example of a Chat application. In that example, it will show how to receive data Asynchronously.

This is the only example I know of. I can't find another example of this idea anywhere. To convert blocks of code from C# to VB, you might want to try http://www.kamalpatel.net/ConvertCSharp2VB.aspx[^] It will NOT convert an entire program like this example. But you can use it to convert blocks of code so you can then use that for a reference to hand convert the rest if needed. RageInTheMachine9532

Hi! I've also tried this and went crazy doing so... I don't think it's possible. My advice is to use a ListView Control. You can't use Databinding then, but you can resize your columns to whatever size you want.... If anyone knows how to resize the datagrid columns, i'd like to know how to do it, too! Sorry I couldn't give you better advice... :( -Timo

You just laid down the specifications for an entire application. Are you asking how to write that? If so, you're going to miss your deadline. Or are you asking how to connect to an Access database from an ASPX page? That's easy enough. First, you can't save a movie as a JPG or BMP. Neither format support multiple frames of images. Animated GIF's can probably be used, but you'll have to write your own function to export each frame of the animation into an animated GIF file. As for how to do that, I have no idea.
