Sure, treasury bills (you consider them financial instruments, right?) are driven by what people think the interest rate is going to be in the future. Money Markets (currency trading) is all about who thinks what the money is going to be worth in the future. Stock options are also driven by what the participants think the future value of the stock will be. The mood of the crowd is dictated by the mood of the individuals, and what they think the mood of the rest of the crowd is, and what they think it is going to be in the future. So, economics is a squishy science based on a splashy science (psychology). Silver member by constant and unflinching longevity.

The monkey was in a statistical dead heat with Cramer on his picks. Funny stuff. Sovereign ingredient for a happy marriage: Pay cash or do without. Ilion wrote: Ah, yes, the old ""evolution" (whatever that word means) is as well "proven" (which word your set also avoids understanding) as gravity" gambit. I am currently reading 18th century English literature (Fielding, Richardson, Smollett, et al). In the accompanying Notes, reference was made to publications attacking Newton's philosophy because it contradicted the teachings in the Pentateuch. As you have attacked evolution and geological dating, I was curious to know whether Newton was still under attack from your lot. 'Evolution is as well proven as Gravity' as a gambit is quite meaningless. Are you sure people use it? I also find it inexplicable that you resort silence or insults. (If you find the phrase 'your lot' insulting, I'm sorry. What would you prefer: Fundamentalists, Creationists, or what?) Bob Emmett

WOW! :omg: Thanks, that is so awesome! :-D I've just sent an e-mail to the top-office people and the maths/computing people asking them to sign up for it. I'm pretty sure someone will do it - from what I can tell, although I don't know why, I'm generally regarded favourably by teachers. :-O
