It's probably already installed; if it ain't, IT should take note that their clients aren't updated using Windows Update - which means that they're prolly missing security-packages. Even Win2k (using the latest SP) has .NET 2.0.

Depends which versions of Windows Servers you're running? Forefront endpoint protection and System Center Endpoint Protection come with most licensing agreements with current Windows products. As was pointed out: TrendMicro is fairly good, which even MalwareBytes has a Enterprise version of their quality AV. Manageability is a huge factor though, which cost is not far behind. A lot depends on existing Infrastructure like if you have a Firewall, IDS/IPS systems like Dell Secureworks, or other security blocks in place.

Is this user on your Domain or an external user? I'd assume that you're using Windows Authentication, so it should be easy to trace back through debug logging. Were there any changes performed prior to this slow period? There are a large number of variables that could lead to authentication errors, but haveyou reviewed Event viewer on the box hosting iis 6 or one of the DCs? -SC

But didn't found any log.
There were certainly logs. But perhaps you meant log entries specifically related to what you are looking for. I seriously doubt that the computer wouldn't log a login event for a remote user.

I want to take all new smtp packets generated inside the network, and send them out on a different ip address, and not the gateway address, so the ipaddress reverses back to the correct ptr record, indicating it's a mail a server that belongs to my domain. Right now, the packets go out on the gateway, with a different reverse ptr record.
That would be something that youtube knows and we don't. Site configurations are unique to a given site and won't be public knowledge.
I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.
