Okay, this seems a bit tenuous, but it's all I could come up with that also fit (somewhat) so here goes... Relative position = near by, or WARM Heartless = "without heart" so "not without heart" = "with heart", or as you might say (in speech) HEARTED. A definition of "not heartless" is WARMHEARTED. It seems a bit overwrought, but there you have it. I feel I'm a bit rusty on these, which is not to say that I ever could have been mistaken as competent.

Use WSL. Download Ubuntu from Microsoft store and you have a pretty decent Linux box. That’s what I do to save me the trouble of having a separate Linux box.

Yeah, Microsoft’s documentation can definitely be confusing at times. Good catch on the difference between &, &&, and ||—a lot of people miss how cmd.exe actually treats return codes. Thanks for breaking it down so clearly!
