OK, I know this has been requested and answered before, but search as I might I can't find it. :^) I'm looking for some pretty (even remotely decent) images to use as toolbar buttons. Free preferably as it for a non-commercial application (may make an article out of it), that I can use in a C# application. Thanks in advance, Gary Flickr Photos[^]

Are you aware of the icons & bitmaps bundled for redistributable use with Visual Studio 2005? I think its C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\VS2005ImageLibrary I've found some of those useful. Microsoft updated them with 2005 so you've got some pretty modern icons. Another pack I've found useful is from the people over at glyFX[^]. I saw them advertise on CP, followed the link and it turns out they've got some good stuff. Most of their icons must be purchased, but they do have 3 packs that are free: clickity to free stuff[^].

I was hunting for icons last night and ended up using the ones in the folder Judah mentioned. I also came across this: Icons I found the link on this blog: Blog I didn't check all the links so I'm not sure how good the other sites are. "My dog worries about the economy. I like using the Tango Desktop Project's icons. They have an online gallery of their work to date. "we must lose precision to make significant statements about complex systems." -deKorvin on uncertainty
