We don't drink it in the office; we adjourn to the bar in our pause area1. But, if I had to bring a beer back to my desk now, nobody would complain unless I was busy releasing software. 1 That's what it's officially called. No such a mundane thing as a tea-room, or lunch area, it's a pukka Pause Area. I think some time and efficiency expert from the early 20th century2 invented that name to prevent people from 'stopping' work for tea, and instead only pausing. 2 Cheaper by the Dozen. We use SQL server 2000, and CPians gave a glowing recommendation of this book, even for SQL server 2000. :) Cheers, Vikram.

What are you doing this weekend? :) Tomorrow - laundry and possibly a dose of Inside SQL Server 7.0. Might meet up with a friend in the evening for dinner and a movie. Sunday - I hope to attend this. Anybody else in Madras attending, please call me at 98408 70931. I also hope to read a bit of The Selfish Gene. Cheers, Vikram.

Tonight, I'm going to drink some Coors light and play NBA 2K6 on my 360. Saturday, I'll be washing my car. Then going out to lunch with my Dad. Saturday night I'm going to spend some QT with the woman. Sunday I'll be going to a Bridal show. I need to pick out a DJ for my wedding this July. "People who never make mistakes, never do anything." I'll probably be writing a contract termination letter( depending on whether I have a cheque on my doorstep on Saturday morning. ) So if there is no cheque, I'll be back looking for work to do over the next few months. So it'll be time to brush up my cv. Michael CP Blog [^] Development Blog [^]

My wife is a cool customer: She has just sent me an email that her contractions have started. "No need to panic Mr Mannering" Me, I'm panicing. I'm an hour from home and 40 mins then to the hospital. FAB Virgil. Tallo Ho! This weekend I'll be giving birth (by proxy)! :o)

You'll think so unless you end up like me where my wife was in labor for 48 hours before they decided to do a c-section. Good luck! ------------------------------------- Do not do what has already been done. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.. but it ROCKS absolutely, too.
