I have a pdfeditor software installed in my system. I have an application(.Net Windows application) where I need to open a pdf file through that software. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance. Jasmy
You can use Open with (Right click on the file). You'll get a list of softwares installed. Select the application you want. If it's not there click on Browse. Find the application; click on open. That's it.

Thank you for giving the answer(for your clear explanation). But, my problem was to do this through code in tha application. I have the solution now. Just use the following line of code: Process.Start("Path of the exe file of the software", "Path of the file to be opened"); [In Windows Application using C#). Jasmy

Lol. Very funny. You didn't mention it. But this is not the right place to ask this question. There is a forum for C# please do ask your questions there in the future. So RUN before anyone else sees this post.:-D Just read the message at the top. It says Gotta programming question...

Will you PLEASE fix your sig? It's "Never say die", not "Never say quits". ------- sig starts "I've heard some drivers saying, 'We're going too fast here...'. If you're not here to race, go the hell home - don't come here and grumble about going too fast. Why don't you tie a kerosene rag around your ankles so the ants won't climb up and eat your candy ass..." - Dale Earnhardt "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001

Nah not so much, one was for the name (it kept diappearing), and one was for the sig (it kept being to big). May Jesus love you too! :rose:
