I'm working on Social Bookmarking projects, I built a community site called blogmemes, mainly in spanish, but I want to built a new version using .Net Framework 2.0. I want to know if is possible to built a site like this using SQl Server Express 2005. AFAIK there is no problem with that except for scalability, but when this problem arise, I plan to migrate to the full server. What do you think? Does anybody put an internet service based on Sql Server Express 2005? Eduardo Diaz site | english blog | spanish blog -- modified at 12:36 Friday 13th January, 2006

Sounds okay to start with. I've not tried it, but SQL Server 2005 Express Edition is more scalable than MSDE was (the limit is in the size of the database, rather than the number of connections) So, I'd say go for it as a starting point and plan to upgrade at some point in the future. I agree with Al. Had to reflect on some high school Spanish and the site looks really nice. Paul
