I ordered this Professional ASP.NET book. Unfortunately I forgot to check the shipping information. It said, "Usually ships within 3 weeks". Also Amazon gave me this offer that if I buy Professional C# along with this book, I get some discount. So I ordered both of them. Now the delivery date is estimated to be March 22 - April 5. What happened to this ASP.NET book? Is it not good? Did they stop publishing? Any idea? Anyone owns this book? How is it?;) omkamal

I believe they're updating it from the Beta2 release of .NET to the RTM.

Once a publisher lets the stores know that a new edition of a book is coming out, the stores won't order any more unless a customer specifically requests it. Otherwise, once the new edition started shipping, they would have to return any unsold stock. This is the case with many beta2 books (including mine) as we've updated them for RTM. However, you should probably verify that you're getting the latest edition of the book. Cheers, Tom Archer Author, Inside C# Best mini-putt score = 22

If you're referring to Wrox's Professional ASP.NET title (Richard Anderson, Brian Francis, Alex Homer, Rob Howard, Dave Sussman, and karli Watson), I picked it up at the World's Biggest Bookstore in Toronto on Wednesday. Have flipped through about 1/2 of it so far and I think it's very well done. Very little fluff for a ~1300 page book. David http://www.dundas.com
