Blog visitors are 11 percent more likely than the average Internet user to have incomes of $75,000 or more.

50 million U.S. Internet users visited blog sites in the first quarter of 2005. That is 1 in 6 of the total U.S. population

A recent study of comScore called: "Behaviours of the blogosphere" [PDF] Shows that blog users spent more time online and bought more online. The study found a lot of interesting facts about blog users. The study found that that blog visitors are 30 percent more likely to buy products or services online. :)

And i too will join that number, just as soon as i put the finishing touches on my own blog, "The Shog Blog". It'll be nothing but cross-linked advertisements, but i'll make up for the lack of content with thousands of "tech.no.ratty" tags on each post. Outraged posts from Web 2.0 lackeys will send millions of compulsively-buying blog readers my way, and, unable to resist clicking on the links, they'll make me rich. Goood, goood...

My God, the name alone is nothing short of amazing - "The Shog Blog". There's got to be a way you can sub-license that. This will most surely rock the Blogosphere, and indeed the very essence of what is Web 2.0, to it's very core. I can't wait. ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! No, no, all you've proposed is Google Adsense in disguise. It needs a bit more irrationality before it becomes a pyramid scheme. regards, Paul Watson Ireland Feed Henry! K(arl) wrote: oh, and BTW, CHRISTIAN ISN'T A PARADOX, HE IS A TASMANIAN!

 (the joke i was trying to make was that a large part of blogging already resembles a pyramid scheme, as so many bloggers rely on links from other blogs for traffic, but only get linked to because they provide links to even more obscure blogs. So you have the pinnacle with real content, the base with nothing but links, and a huge mix of the two in between.)

That's because people who get less money have to work much harder for it and have less time to read blogs.
