Comments made during the Coretta Scott King's funeral

I don't think anyone minded this interruption during Bill Clinton's speech at the Coretta Scott King's funeral. In an unusual bit of theater, the Clintons stood together at the podium as first he, then she, addressed the crowd. The New York senator spoke of leadership, and of Coretta King continuing her husband's legacy. ... The crowd got the point. ... When Bill Clinton said he was honored to be in the presence of "my President, and my former President" - he was interrupted by someone down front yelling out: "and your future President!" :-D However, that's not something that surprised me, it was the fact that majority of the speakers bashed our current president in his presence. Don't get me wrong, I think our current administration is about 1000 different kinds of stupid, but:
The Lounge is a place where you can discuss anything that takes your fancy. If you just want to laze about and discuss things that don't quite fit elsewhere, then this is the place. -

If a post is likely to send someone into a fit of keyboard hammering, followed by stomping outside for a cigarette, then it's Soapbox material. Unless it's about how inferior all forms of VB are to anything else, or how much better Windows is than Linux - those are prime Lounge flamewar fodder... ;)

I think a good place to start would be if it's either political or religious, then it ought to be in the soapbox. This coming from both a political and religious person. :)
