While slugging through a tut on ADO.NET I find that firing up the old PS7 proggy helps me unwind and refocus my efforts. Here is one result of such a break. I hope you enjoy. It kind of reminds me of the landscape pics from the scifi books covers of yesteryear... http://www.toasty0.com/images/planettoasty.jpg[^] My Programming Library 'Even a good developer can easily write bad code in VB.NET'.--Off The Record -- modified at 1:15 Monday 20th March, 2006

Also, do you typically wait 4 years before you post about your evening relaxations on CP? The copyright date is for 2002. Dude, really. Not many people here think too nicely of plagiarism. Jeremy Falcon

Actually, Photoshop can make that kind of picture. Apps like Bryce just make it easier. Jeremy Falcon

And out of the professional graphic artists I've met, I've never heard them call it "PS7 proggy" before. :-D Sounds more like script kiddy lingo to me. Jeremy Falcon

That is if the moutain and water is a real original picture or developed in vue or bryce as for the planet yeah photoshop could easily do that as well the reflections by layers and blending. The reflection of the moutain is wrong it's backwards.

No, the entire thing can be created in Photoshop if you're good enough. Here's an example of making realistic water from scratch for instance... Clickety[^] Like I said, apps like Bryce just make it easier. Jeremy Falcon

"Dude", it is not plagarized. If you look at the original and then at my additions...oh screw it. I'm not selling this stuff. I'm just having some fun with Photo Shop. That's all. You need to unclinch them cheecks there before you tell us wether that dime is heads or tails. 4 years? I haven't had PS for that long. Dumbass. Well, you passed it off as your own. Not as you tinkering with other's work. Also, you don't have to sell something to take credit for someone else's efforts.

Perhaps you can't count the difference between 2002 and 2006. Oh, and thanks for the downvote. Jeremy Falcon

Do you have a link to the original? I would be interested to see how you changed it. If I "pimped my ride," to use today's vernacular, and said to everyone, "hey look what I did!" I think that it would be implicit that I wasn't taking credit for designing and building a Honda...only the "improvements." I think that this is a similar situation, but you would have been better advised to make that connection more explicit. People in this profession are very sensitive to copyright infringement. You didn't bother to mention anything to do with it not being your original work. What else are we - the readers - supposed to assume? You expect us to be psychic, and yet you get pissed off when we are not? Get real. Btw, I'll assume you spelt my name wrong on accident. Jeremy Falcon
