My first ASP.Net site
-
Went live yesterday! It's an e-commerce site I made for my wife in my spare time so that she can sell jewelry she makes online. It was more of a learning project for me as I've never really done anything in asp.net, but version 1 seems to work pretty well. I have a free $20 adwords credit, so I activated it. I can't wait to see if anything sells!

What, no link? Tisk tisk. [edit] For my first asp.net site, I somehow suckered Marc into letting me redo myxaml.com[^]. [/edit] Jeremy Falcon

Oh yeah, don't spam. I didn't think about that. :-D

I like the look and feel of it. Good job. Jeremy Falcon

I just noticed that there is no physical address or phone numbers in the contact area. I NEVER buy anything from a place that doesn't provide that info. Thought you might like to know (I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way about online retailers). Cheers, Drew.

Simple and clean. That's what I like about the web site. Do I get something from your site for this comment.:)

Thanks. I'll put that in. I left it out because it's a home-based business and didn't want to advertise my home address, lest someone finds my wife's chin irresistible. If anything sells, I'll probably get a PO Box.

I took a look at the site and the jewelry. Nice job on the site - it looks professional and clean. The jewelry is, WOW - at least for my tastes. Very nice looking stuff. I think she'll sell a bunch. Cheers, Drew.

I'll let the Mrs. know. She'll love to hear that.

You only give the option for "Secure Checkout", is it possible to do just a normal checkout? /\ |_ E X E GG
You're joking, right? ------- sig starts "I've heard some drivers saying, 'We're going too fast here...'. If you're not here to race, go the hell home - don't come here and grumble about going too fast. I'll assume you're joking, but I put "secure checkout" instead of just "checkout" there just because usually checkout is accompanied by some description of how it's secure...yada yada yada. So in order to avoid some sort of long-winded description, I just made it "Secure Checkout".

Judging by his profile, I'm pretty sure he was joking.
