Hi. I use Visual Studio 2002 and I just installed the .net framework 1.1 and its SDK but the IDE keeps using the 1.0 framework. Is there a way to update it?

Would uninstalling the 1.0 framework not be a viable solution?

Does it ensure that the IDE will use the 1.1 framework?

No, you need to either get VS03, a free gui (sharp develop), or write your code in notepad and compile on the commandline to use the 1.1 framework. It will NOT run in vs02 at all.

No way to do this. VS2k2 pre-dates that version of the framework and thus has no capability to use it. VS2k3 can use either 1.0 or 1.1 frame works. VS2k5 uses 2.0 and there is a power toy to enable you to compile for 1.1 via the command-line. Nathaniel L. Walker "I lack emotions. Don't test me..."
