Help: my Hotmail is in Chinese
-
[EDIT]Yes, yes, I know! it's a newbie question! just shoot me ok?![/EDIT] Whenever I log on to my hotmail account (thorugh browser) the menu is in Chinese. I have no idea how this happened! I tried to change the encoding but it didn't work, and I can't figure out where the settings are since it's in Chinese! Anyone has an idea? Can I set Outlook to recieve the emails from this account? (what's the mail server?) Isaac Sasson "I hate it. Java sucks. And Java's generics suck harder. 1. Click Tools -> Internet Options -> Languages button (in the general tab) 2. Do you see Chinese as a language listed? 3. If yes, remove that language from the list.

Sorry, but that's the way the world is headed - you'd best just suck it up and learn Chinese...

Need my help? Export (and clean up your emails), change the password to let me log on to fix it. And later you change the password again which I don't know.

Why did you yikes? You are not the original poster. I am a Chinese. Chinese language is my mother tongue. And I said that he could remove all those he does not hope me to see in his mailbox by export, save-as, or some other means, and change the password for temporary. If he yikes, that's fine. Forget it!

Letting someone else have access to my mailbox would give me the willies. I didn't know I needed to be the original poster to respond to your comment.:(

By the way, I read your profile just now. You only talk in the Lounge, not in other forums of CP such as VC++, C#, ASP, etc.?

My experience is in c/c++ and sql. I'm afraid I just don't have time to monitor all the forums I'm interested in. I find this forum most interesting for general subjects.

Sure! Thanks! I'll send you the details in the mail. And it's not my main mail box so there isn't anything special there. Isaac Sasson "I hate it. Java sucks. And Java's generics suck harder. And in general, Java just sucks." - David Stone, The Lounge (May 1st 2006)
