Wow! Looks like India does not have either a Borders or Barns&Noble. Computer book sales must suck in India.

All indians speak 200 languages? Do they count "cow" as a language?

It's useless. It doesnot show any meaningful information, you can rely on. Most of the trends don't make sense.

Yes, they can shoot laser beams out of their eyes when they get angry too. "There are 200 languages spoken in India" would probably be more accurate :) Ryan

Does the Indian version of Windows have 200 languages in the language selection? Just wondering how Google knows what language they were googling in when they did their search for ".Net"?

These results are very confusing. I would have expected the US and other LARGE western countries to dominate pretty much any common search phrases. I wonder how they calculate the results. I mean India... ok that might be believable (not really IMHO), but Israel? Singapore?! Hong Kong?! You can't tell me more people from Hong Kong which is one single city search for "design pattern" than all the people from America combined.

That’s because they are in the various forums asking questions instead of reading about the languages. :~

Look at the langauge numbers, and vietnamese. The closest thing I can thing of to an explanation is that most us IPs are com/net/org and are filled under 'unknown'.
